Thanks for this list! That's definitely useful.
Did the maintainers of the various modules listed in there looked at the
bugs? :-) 2.16.2 is going to be released in a few days...

I don't think this is useful for 2.16.x (this is more of a new feature
than a critical bug), but it'd be really nice to have in 2.17.
