There are distros who have version freeze dates for most packages way
sooner than for our desktop components.
I know Ubuntu and SuSE include what we declare "stable" even if they
don't include incremental updates of other software for at least two
months before our and their release. I guess Fedora does the same.
I.e. distros trust our modules more than others'.
