Since on my system[1] the gnome-volume-manager capplet seems to manage
printers, scanners and USB input devices[2], I'd say that it hardly
manages only volumes anymore.

So, +1 for the name change.

[1] Ubuntu Edgy, but by looking at the CVS snapshot from JHBuild I don't
see any outstanding distribution patches that might have changed the
capplet's UI.

[2] Never really noticed that; kudos to the maintainers for this
feature.
