I think it would be nice if actions could be categorized, so that there
would be a Actions submenu in the nautilus context menu, and from there,
have submenus for each category, apart from the top-level 'Manage
actions' menu item.

no need to update the wiki, if you mean the UNIX power for desktop page.
Once we get ironed out, I guess we can remove all sections in that page
that refer to n-a or its functionality.
Apart from the 2 issues you mentioned, I think n-a would be a great
addition for 2.14, so vote for it :)
We can look, for 2.16/.18, to integrate all this into Nautilus itself,
if people like it.
