This looks like it was fixed in 0.8.8 btw.

I think it was a RB bug.

Unfortunately it's a really manual and high-maintenance process, one of
the big disadvantages of experimenting with CVS alternatives. I just
made a quick attempt at syncing though, hope that helps.
