Translate applet context menu

Im having some problems setting up a translated context menu, 
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=324343 could anyone point me 
in any direction of where I can find some documentation on this? Or have 
any suggestions?

The xml file is in POTFILES.in, is there an @INTLTOOL_****_RULES@ ? Like 
for .desktop and .server files?

This is for gnome-schedule, located in cvs.gnome.org, written in python.
