Its funny - I always get one of two opinions about gnome-netstatus - 1)
"its great" or 2) some rant suggesting that the blinking causes ones
eyes apart.
I can see how that because of the size of the area that changes on the
icons it might be a tad distracting for some, but my guess is we could
fix that with different icons which have more subtle changes between
states.
