I've once written something similar (still lurking around in my private
repository). It was a hack that indexed and categorized all kinds of
GConf keys (from static arrays, software categories like
"Office"/"Gnumeric", "File Management", etc.), just like gTweakUI. What
we need is a proper GUI - the average user doesn't want to »tweak«
anything, he simply wants to have a nice GUI in the proper place.
Unfortunately GNOME still has many rough edges compared to other DEs.
