Very strange, after a quick look I'm not entirely sure what's going on
but it seems that the recent librsvg change which makes g_thread_init()
to be called in the pixbuf loader is causing gdk-pixbuf-query-modules to
crash. At least, reverting that librsvg change makes the problem go
away.
Now, librsvg has been building, so I had assumed it was the recent work
to make gdk-pixbuf threadsafe that caused the problem, but reverting
that patch doesn't help.
Anyway, logged a bug with a stack trace:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=158157
Building librsvg with --disable-gnome-vfs works around the problem for
now.
Cheers,
Mark.
