As a laptop user I really enjoy the new menu choices. Not having to
navigate the submenu on my touch pad makes me warm and fuzzy.
I use it mainly in a 'get this app out of my view, quickly.' For tasks
that are going to take several hours (downloading NLD and FC3 today) I
want to move them to another desktop as fast as I can.
Granted I typically work on the left most desktop so my menu looks a
little more sane.
Offtopic, but it's interesting to note that the HIG also says we are to
avoid submenus on a popup menu.
