That may be nice wrt quick access, but doesn't have discoverability
advantage of notifying user of mount happening in systray. I'd say we
probably should be issuing short notify in systray and using libnotify,
which states the fact of new media mounted, as well as opens it when
clicked, and disappears after some short time, say 30s, leaving
Desktop / Computer / Places method for users who want to access medium
after that time.
Alternatively, we could leave icon for medium in systray as a reminder
of need for umounting, but IMHO that's not so good idea to crowd systray
even more. I already have 4 icons there, and that's without using any
removable media, wireless network or battery status applet. Instead of
reminding users to umount, we should take away the need to umount
altogether.
