Just X and nautilus and gnome-panel running and you're already way past
32 MB. Not to mention the rest of the desktop. 32MB is simply not
enough memory to run a modern GUI. I've tried running Gnome 2 on 64MB
systems and it just doesn't work very well at all. Once I upgrade the
memory though, it runs quite well.
