Dear James,

Is there any particular reason why you're using GLib 2.3.x instead of
GLib 2.2.3 that was released with GNOME 2.4.1? Due to this, I can't
upload libgnetwork into Debian until GNOME 2.4 has settled into our
testing tree and the rest of the GNOME maintainers decide to start
uploading GNONE 2.5 packages into unstable. This in itself is probably
months off.

I suspect that this situation will be the same with a lot of other
distributions who are unwilling to ship development versions of anything
in GNOME-core.

Cheers,
