I like your terminology suggestions!

I am not sure about removing the ability to control the interface
details since, for instance, selecting HighContrastInverse if the theme
was "Mist" would alter the appearance so severely that the original
theme name didn't apply anymore.  What would such a theme be called? 
(just "user defined theme" or something?)
