Well the general idea is to clean out all the old, crappy (compared to
the new stuff avaliable anyway) icons, and add more useful misc icons.
So if we do it right the only breakage would be that users would have to
re-choose custom icons for their custom launchers as apposed to
suddently not having any custom icons to choose from.
Appart from just clearing out the cruft, a major benefit I see to
removing these icons is that it will give us an insentive to add new
ones from our talented artists. And if you need a new irc icon you can
add one to cvs.
Of course I don't think that _every_ one of these icons needs to be
removed. I people say that icons X, Y, Z are useful then it makes sense
to leave them, but the majority of them are absolutely uselsess.
