I have a question. I add some entries in /etc/fstab. I use Gnome
window manager on RedHat 9.0. If I right click on desktop it has a
"Disks" option
which shows me all the disks installed. It gets those entries from
/etc/fstab, but doesnt read directly from there. What I mean is that if I
change fstab it's not reflected in "Disks" until I log out and log back
in. Once I log in, then "Disks" option shows me the updated entries from
fstab. Is there anyway I can do it w/o logging out?
Press Alt+F2, then type in 'killall nautilus' and press enter. This will
restart Nautilus (the desktop background and file manager) only.
