Dude, one of the things brought up in the article was the current mess of
menu/toolbar stuff (which is very bad for hackers, but not hugely noticeable
for users). That's being fixed with EggMenu/EggToolbar. The other items were
pixel-precision problems throughout the user interface. These are very minor
bugs.

Neither of these things could be described as "major ui issues". The mime
types mess is a good example of a major UI issue, however. If you're going
to get up in arms about something, please yell from the rooftops about that.
