Re: Metacity and ATK (call for assistance)



metacity needs to know whether accessibility support is enabled or not and load 
the required accessibility modules. For GNOME applications there is code in 
libgnome/libgnome/gnome-program.c which determines whether the accessibility 
gconf key is set and if so, loads the modules gail, atk-bridge and gail-gnome. 
metacity is not a GNOME program but it would need to execute similar code; 
loading gail-gnome should not be necessary but loading the other modules would 
be.

If this is done speaking the Alt-space menu ought to work,
