It is not that simple. This implementation relies on a patch to
gnome-print that is not going to be in the release. Please give us a day
to see if we can write a workaround for that.

The rest of the implementation is simple. The functions that are used to
draw on the screen (since the first tarball release of gpdf) are reused
to print. The abstraction is provided by libgnomeprint.

Adding the print feature would add (ui-wise) a menu item, the stock
gnome print dialog, and a custom progress dialog with new strings for
the progress dialog and error messages.

No, it was known that ggv would drop pdf support. It should have been
clear that any ggv feature not in gpdf is a regression for the desktop.
