Looks good, doesn't it?

Having common (or stock?) messages probably would save i18n people from
a lot of work and users from downloading packages with duplicate data,
since .po and .gmo files take a bit of disk space and bandwidth for
download which would be better not wasted at all.

On the other hand, such a change in the way of GNU gettext usage in
GNOME applications will obviously require some changes.
