You seem to have another version of gtk (or at least gtk-devel) around
too.
Check to see if those files in /usr/include/gtk is from any installed
package, otherwise you have files that somehow is missed by the
package-system.
Gtk 1.2.10 should install it's headers in /usr/include/gtk-1.2/gtk
