We're aware of this. The two options right now are:
1) Change default_action_type for HTML to application. Then you'll launch
a web browser for html pages.
2) I'm currently looking into a GtkHTML1 web view. It should be pretty
simple, and GtkHTML1 is maintained. Although i'm not sure if GtkHTML1 (and
gal) is in the current desktop package set...
