Hi Jayaraj,

I assume that the navigating between the buttons is using the code in 
gtkcontainer.c (gtk_container_focus() and _gtk_container_focus_sort()) which 
would explain the inconsistencies in the results.

I hope that the parent of the buttons is a custom widget. If it is, I suggest
implementing a specific version of the focus function of the GtkWidgetClass 
structure for the custome widget class to get the required behaviour.
