Btw, what's the schedule and plan for this? In about six days, 2.0.0
gets released. So I guess it would be appropriate if a draft version of
the release notes was available in say three or four days, giving us a
little bit of time to fine tune it with a few eyes looking at it. There
is, unfortunately and unavoidably, going to be enough bad press written
about GNOME 2 as it is -- so I would definitely be in favour of getting
the release notes just right; treading the line between happy-excited
and "here's a few issues to look out for". (And I am not, for one
instant, implying that the release team would not do the best job they
possibly could on their own, either.)
Many "ayes" make light (bulb) work.
