I know many people who do -- in large organizations with large NFS
directories, that 200-char pathname can be a pain to navigate.
Besides, isn't one of the benefits of VFS abstraction supposed to be
that there's no difference between "here" and "there" - it Just Works
(be it WebDAV, FTP, or local file)?
