GARNOME Preview Two: "Hundmat gör dig stark och smart!"
=======================================================

GARNOME 0.7.0 - the bad-ass, bleeding edge GNOME distribution for testers
and tweakers everywhere - is ready for more tire-kicking and bug-bashing. If
you're dying to try the GNOME 2.0 Desktop, but don't want to fall into the
depraved addictions and co-dependencies of testing from anonymous CVS, then
GARNOME is for you.

What's New?
-----------

  - All packages updated to GNOME 2.0 Desktop Beta status or later,
including the gnome-core split, GTK+ family 1.3.15, and with Sawfish as
    the default GARNOME window manager.

  - Added Gnumeric, GStreamer and X-Chat garballs, and a gnome-other meta
garball to build them all at once. X-Chat does not include the most
recent release (from yesterday), as I couldn't get it to build. ;-)

  - GAR updates: More compatible tarball extraction, resumes downloads for
ftp, includes scp support, and supports autogen.sh.

  - Builds with *all* debugging turned on, which I could have sworn went
quietly into the last release. Silly mans.

Where do I get it?
------------------

The tarball and documentation is available on the GARNOME website:

Happy Testing!

with your first wife. You guys were good together'. It's not that
simple." - David Byrne on Talking Heads
