GnomeDesktopItem

There doesn't seem to be a way to create a GnomeDesktopItem from the
already-streamed-in contents of a desktop file. This means I can't use it in
Nautilus, since we have to be able to parse a desktop file once Nautilus
already read the contents into memory using gnome-vfs async. calls.

What can we do about this? Does Nautilus need to keep its own
NautilusDesktopFile class :-(
