Renaming the panel applet menu entries/desktop files

I know Seth did an enormous amount of work renaming the application menu
entries so that they make sense and are descriptive instead of only
using cryptic names.

But how about the panel applets? Things like "gEyes" and other
gnome-applets menu entries (desktop files) probably also need some love.
Just "Eyes" would be so much better in this case.

Is there anyone planning to work on this, or is it too late?
