I would be happy to see Michael, Jody or Dave as a comaintainer. Although 
I fear that they, especially you Michael :), have a lot on their plate 
already, so they may not have much time to spend on gnome-vfs either.

I do want to point out that maintainership is not inherently about doing 
development. Its more about making releases on time, handling schedules,
reviewing patches and steering the overall project direction. It's more of
a manager role than an engineering role, although in many cases the 
maintainer is also doing a lot of development work.
