I'll have a look; fairly busy with release and FTP stuff at the moment
though. (Why does the GEP stuff have a separate update script?)

Yeah, I think that open planning stuff went by the wayside as we leapt onto
the bucking bronco that was GNOME 2. Not entirely sure whether the full GEP
process is required to bring in more community scrutiny on this stuff, but
it's certainly something that the release team needs to facilitate.

  (As always, everyone's suggestions for these sorts of things are very
  welcome, please mail release-team gnome org and preferably another
  relevant list depending on the suggestion.)
