I explained this decision numerous times [1] and a bug as filed as well
[2]. It's on the todo list for 2.22, but UI freeze is already on January
28th and I'm laking time right now.

I'm aware of this problem. I didn't investigate it, yet, though.
Therefore, I can't say right now whether this will change in 2.22.
A bug is already files, too [3].
