Hmm... The cvs version looked too small *before* I applied your -final
async patch. After I apply it it looks and behaves fine. - That is
exactly like the dictionary applet.

Bottom line. I can't reproduce any of your bugs... What distro and lib
versions are you using? I'm using a *just updated* Ubuntu Breezy.
