I’m sorry you’re experiencing a problem! That error message is not very helpful, indeed.

That form has instructions on how to get log output from Deja Dup. But that would probably involve making a new backup again, which seems like a big pain in the butt, when you expect it will just fail again.

What storage location are you using?

I'm having issues with deja-dup snap. Just spent the last 48 hours re-creating a new backup per the instructions that deja-dup wanted to create a new one. At the end, it just gave a terse message 'Backup Failed' with no other explanation. Since it's a snap, there isn't any system log — at least that I can find. So, I'm at a loss as to what to do.
