Re: problem with deja-dup



Hello! I’m sorry deja-dup is giving you problems!

Though this error looks like a problem with duplicity. Specifically, this looks like https://bugs.launchpad.net/duplicity/+bug/1770929

There is a fix for it, but it’s not released yet... though maybe you could manually apply it. It seems to be caused by non-ascii filenames. So if you know which filename might be causing problems, you could rename it to just ascii.

with the previous version of deja-dup (37.1) I had the same problem.
I found some bug reports about 37.1 and that it is fixed with 38.x.
With big hope I installed the new snap and tried again - without success.
The file wich raised the error is in one of the Firefox subdirectories but i don't know how to get the name.
