Backup with an external USB harddisk

Hi,

i use deja-dup with an external usb harddisk. If i connect the disk
deju-dub starts and i see the password dialog. :-) this all is okay. 

But if dja-dub is finished i can not see the end state. I can not see
also works deja-dub. (my workaround: see the deja-dub (phyton) cpu
activity with htop) 
It is difficult to choice whether i can disconnect the usb harddisk.

Can you understand me? Can you help me?
