Right. I guess my only point was that it seems like the two problems
are unrelated as this time beagled got stuck like it always does, yet
there were no errors in the log.

The issue that was causing the exceptions, perhaps, but this getting
stuck seems to be something different.

Do you think you could kill the daemon, and then run beagle from the
terminal with
beagled --fg --debug
(foreground with debugging turned on)
