Hi,
I wanted to compile beagle from source because I don't know how to
access beagle via web-browser if I install it via rpm's.

It would be best if somebody can tell me if it is possible to start the
"default yast installed" beagle somehow that I can access it via browser
over the LAN.

I'm working with opensuse10.0 and first installation via yast worked
nice, but I need this web-access.

I read that I can give the configure option "--enable-webservice=yes"
while compile beagle from source.
Therefore I installed the rpm's listed on the beagle homepage:
mono-data-1.1.13-0.novell
mono-extras-1.1.13-0.novell
mono-winforms-1.1.13-0.novell
mono-data-sqlite-1.1.13-0.novell
mono-core-1.1.13-0.novell
mono-devel-1.1.13-0.novell
mono-basic-1.1.13-0.novell
mono-web-1.1.13-0.novell
mono-nunit-1.1.13-0.novell

gecko-sharp-0.6-10
gnome-sharp2-2.4.0-1.suse100.novell
evolution-sharp-0.10.1-4
glib-sharp2-2.4.0-1.suse100.novell
gtk-sharp-1.0.10-6
gconf-sharp2-2.4.0-1.suse100.novell
gtk-sharp2-2.4.0-1.suse100.novell
gecko-sharp2-0.11-1.novell
galago-sharp-0.3.2-8
glade-sharp2-2.4.0-1.suse100.novell

=> the configure runs fine ("./configure --enable-webservice=yes")

=> but compilation fails ("make" produces the following output):

./Lucene.Net/QueryParser/QueryParserTokenManager.cs(1268,1): warning

Maybe thats a Gmime problem, why dont u try to install the latest version of Gmime ?
http://spruce.sourceforge.net/gmime/sources/v2.1/

Greets.

how to solve this ???

or even better (once again): is it possible to access beagle if I
install it via yast (rpm's) ???

thanks in advance..::GERD::..
