I'm also using Debian/Sid (on a 386): beagled --list-backends Current available backends: User: - EvolutionDataServer - EvolutionMail - Thunderbird - KMail - Files - GaimLog - IndexingService - Tomboy - Blam - Liferea - Akregator - KonquerorHistory - Kopete System: - applications - documentation Notice the lack of the Debug: '/usr/lib/beagle/Backends' is not a directory: Nothing loaded from here. I'd try a clean install (remove beagle with --purge and reinstall, and remove your .beagle directory).
