Right, for you and me, and other users of thunderbord 1.5, it is better
than nothing. But for thunderbird 1.0.6- and 1.6+ users the openUrl
probably would be better. I wish it could be configured with "configure
--with-broken-openurl" or autodetected at runtime with "thunderbird
--version".
This seems to be the known problem:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=333788 and related bugs.
Hopefully one of next versions of thunderbird will get it fixed.

I do have 2 nntp, 2 pop, 2 "real" imap and 2 "dummy" (e.g. "Local
Folders" and "miko localhost") accounts, so it totals to 8 accounts (but
not to "8 mail accounts").
