beagle 0.0.8.1 dbus hang

Hi,

I'm having some trouble with a new install of beagle, when I launch the beagle daemon it outputs "DEBUG: Initializing D-BUS" and nothing more.  Any searches started in best cause best to hang.

The dbus daemon is running and the environment variables are set correctly.  

I'm running DBUS 0.23.1, Mono 1.0.6 and beagle 0.0.8.1, all compiled from source.

Anyone have any idea what could be wrong?
