Hi
This is an issue we had with the Syscall.access method which obviously
has a bug in mono-1.1.3 and probably lower. I removed the code since I
was having the same problem so Im your magic culprit :-) Everything
should work fine with the current CVS.
Best,
Lukas

Running the latest CVS, I get the following error when I try to run beagled:
INFO: Starting Beagle Daemon (version 0.0.7)

FATAL: Could not set extended attributes on a file in your home
directory. See
http://www.beaglewiki.org/index.php/Enable%20Extended%20Attributes for
more information.
Using CVS before out-of-process refactoring did not have this problem,
and I can manually use the attr utility to get and set attributes.
I'm using a reiserfs filesystem (with XATTR turned on), mounted with
options rw,user_xattr on ubuntu's 2.6.10 kernel.
Is there at least any way to figure out which file it's erroring out on?
Thanks,
-Joe
