Thanks for the patch!  It generally looks good, I think it would be
cleaner to have a little less cut-and-pasted code in there.  Since
ScanMbox and ScanImap are very similar, maybe the right thing to do is
to have one generic Scan method which handles both local and imap
scanning.  Exactly what sort of scanning needed to be done could be
passed in as an argument.
