beagle-index-mail with evolution 1.4 - error?

just to be sure:

is beagle-index-mail meant to work with evolution 1.4?

I get this error when running:

$ beagle-index-mail /home/avb/evolution/local/goonews/mbox.ev-summary

But I don't know if this is a bug or simply that beagle will work on
getting mail indexed from evolution 1.5 and posterior versions only,
