Google Contacts Problem

I have a problem while trying to use Google Contacts for
synchronization. 
I never get more then 24 entries, don't matter how many do I have on my
google contacts.
I tried using python-gdata for manually retrieving the entries, and I
get 24 entries there too (so, I know, it's not a conduit problem). 
Did someone have this same problem ?
Is there any specific detail about Google Contacts ?
