    Revert "core-deps-latest: librest force srcdir builds"
    
    This reverts commit 59f8eedf2c6f9c7f112f7db6cffc31eaee24566c.
    
    The build error reported in the issue was not related to non-srcdir
    builds, so there is no need to force srcdir builds.
