[gtk: 1/2] Remove unused static inline function

commit 84c6708366c81e18adfefe875623d3065778e3f1
Author: Emmanuel Gil Peyrot <linkmauve linkmauve fr>

    Remove unused static inline function

This was causing a warning on AArch64 since __LITTLE_ENDIAN__ and
__BIG_ENDIAN__ weren’t set, but the functions were actually completely
    unused.
