      Do not cache getpagesize(), it is already.
      Use g_ascii_isspace instead of isspace because the later is slower and we     only need to deal with 
ascii.
      Update git ignore list.
      When parsing /proc/cpuinfo, ignore paragraphs that do not describe a CPU/core.
