[gtk+/gdk-backend: 70/91] Remove the --sync commandline option

    Remove the --sync commandline option
    
    Remove the --sync option and remove the possibility of backend-specific
    commandline options altogether. --sync is being replaced by
    a GDK_SYNCHRONIZE environment variable.
