Missing events

Hello,

I was hoping I could ask for some assistance in fixing a bug. A minimal
example that showcases the issue I'm having can be found at:

If I move the mouse cursors between the two windows, at some point the
cursor will be located over the unfocused window, but there will be no
events. This seems to happen only when the windows are stacked.

What am I doing wrong?
