[clutter] Meter widget

Hi,

I am working on some other software http://jamin.sf.net (in C this time)
which I am porting to gtk3/clutter. One of the custom widgets is a
gtkmeter which is used to display the volume levels to the user.

Before I spend time on converting it to cairo do you think it would be a
good match for clutter?

The bulk of the interface is already written in gtk3 so I'm not sure if
having multiple clutter stages as custom widgets is a good or bad idea.
